| Thruport Re-releases Enhanced Version of Award-Winning HotOffice Groupware ALEXANDRIA, VA, December 12 --- Thruport Technologies, a leading software application provider to portals, ad networks, online retailers, and enterprises, today launched an upgraded version of the popular HotOffice groupware solution. The software-now called Thruport HotOffice-was named "Editor's Choice" by PC Magazine in 1998, 1999, and 2000 for groupware solutions, and was issued a "World Class Award" in 2000 by PC World. HotOffice is designed to support office productivity by providing "anywhere-anytime" access to company mail, calendaring, file, and workgroup resources via the Internet. Thruport Technologies acquired the HotOffice application in September and hired David Moser, one of senior architects of the original application, to lead Thruport's upgrade and re-launch effort for HotOffice. Thruport's upgrades to the email function allow users to access multiple accounts from one inbox. "I saw the value-and potential-in HotOffice the first time I used it," said Thruport founder and CEO Bruce Waldack. "For new and growing businesses, collaborative software like HotOffice that's available from any browser allows home businesses, telecommuters, sales professionals and field workers, and businesses with multiple locations to rapidly implement and scale their office communication capability. We've given Thruport HotOffice an enhanced set of features and priced it in such a way that makes it very compelling for the small-to-medium enterprise."
