HotOffice Teamware Selected by HP for HP Brio Internet Center
Small Businesses Rely on Hewlett-Packard Company and HotOffice for E-Commerce and Collaboration Tools

BOCA RATON, FL (Feb. 7, 2000) - HotOffice Technologies, Inc. (www.hotoffice.com) today announced an alliance with Hewlett-Packard Company to include the HotOffice teamware service in the HP Brio Internet Center. With the HotOffice service, HP adds award-winning "instant online office" capabilities to the HP Brio Internet Center, an integrated, one-stop solution for enabling small-business customers to conduct business online. With the HotOffice service, HP Brio PC customers can now easily communicate and collaborate online with colleagues using HotOffice's robust suite of applications and tools including document and contact management, e-mail, group calendaring, synchronization, bulletin boards and more.

"We're pleased to be working with HP to help small businesses leverage the Internet," said R. Michael Franz, Chairman and CEO of HotOffice Technologies. "The HP Brio Internet Center is an innovative idea, one that gives HP customers a wealth of easy-to-use tools and an end-to-end solution - from setting up Internet access to creating an online office to building an online store."

Rich with communication and collaboration tools, the HotOffice service will be integrated into the latest version of the HP Brio Internet Center, which is bundled on all new HP Brio PCs. Designed to help teams become more efficient and effective, the HotOffice service is available in a free (ad-supported) version or a subscription service. HP Brio PC customers can select either version and will enjoy an additional month free (30 days free plus the standard 30-day free trial) on the HotOffice subscription service.

"By offering the HotOffice service, we're providing our customers with an easy-to-use and cost-effective alternative to implementing an intranet and managing the necessary server-based applications," said Jean-Jacques Ozil, worldwide marketing manager for Brio PCs at HP's Business Desktop Division. "We are the only PC vendor to offer a combination of the Brio and this powerful suite of collaboration and communication tools designed to help small and medium businesses be more productive, save money and work more efficiently."

The co-marketing and co-distribution agreement also calls for HotOffice to market HP products from the HotOffice Business Center, part of the comprehensive HotOffice service, beginning in March.
